Rabbits need a comfortable place to rest, especially if their cage has a wire floor. Despite the convenience of a wire floor, they can be very uncomfortable to lay on and to walk. To make your rabbit’s living space more comfortable and more relaxing for your rabbit, try introducing your rabbit to a rabbit bed. In addition you can add a heating pad to your rabbi’s living space especially in the winter for more warmth.
A plush, cushioned bed is great for the winter and helps to keep your rabbit warmer and more comfortable when napping. There are several type to keep your rabbit comfortable when napping or resting. Here are a few of my favorites:
- The Super Pet Cuddl – E – Cup is great for any rabbit owner. This bed sits directly on top of the cage floor and is roomy enough for larger rabbits or smaller multiple rabbits. When this bed gets dirty just through it into the machine for washing. The inside is covered in a super soft fleece that your rabbit will enjoy snuggling in and the outside is available in a variety of fun prints to help liven up your rabbit’s cage. This bed is also ideal outside of the cage, if your rabbit is allowed to room freely in your home.
- The Sleep E Tent Super Sleeper makes a great bed for your rabbit. This fun tent may also be converted to a hammock for a cozy place to snooze. The tent may be hung up in your rabbit’s wire cage for a better view of the surroundings or placed on the ground for a quick hide away. Use the clips to attach it the top of your rabbit’s cage as a hammock.
- The Sleep-E-Sack Super Sleeper is snugly sack for your rabbit to snooze in and keep warm. This sack is perfect for smaller rabbit and gives them a cozy resting place.
