Not long ago I brought a young, unseasoned horse to a horse fair. The crowds, music, new smells and unfamiliar activity over stimulated her and she began to panic.

Equilite received a request for information about flower essences from Nancy, the owner of a 4 year-old English Setter named Lily. Lily had spent the last 3.5 years or so in a crate in a basement with other dogs. Nancy adopted her from a shelter and about 6 weeks later contacted Equilite regarding her fear of being outdoors. Nancy said, “She has not, since I've known her, peed or pooped outside. I am sure it's because she's not 100% comfortable BEING outside. When she's out, she can't focus on anything: not a cat, not smells on the ground, not other animals, nothing.
