We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our company’s logistics operations. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods, ensuring efficient transportation, effective inventory management, and timely delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as procurement, operations, and sales to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Plan and manage the transportation of goods, including selecting carriers, negotiating contracts, and monitoring performance.
- Optimize order consolidation, routing, and scheduling to minimize costs and improve delivery times.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, and transportation costs.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Foster strong relationships with rider supply offices, suppliers, and other logistics partners to ensure effective collaboration and service delivery.
