About the Role
The Commercial Associate at Rabbit Mart plays a pivotal role in driving rapid growth, inventory efficiency, and margin optimization across our quick-commerce ecosystem. Operating at the intersection of commercial strategy and data analytics, this role is responsible for monitoring dark store stock performance, analyzing vendor economics, tracking promotional effectiveness, and delivering high-impact executive reporting that directly influences daily commercial and purchasing decisions.
What You'll Do
Daily & Weekly Dashboards: Build, maintain, and automate commercial reporting models tracking GMV (Gross Merchandise Value), net revenue, order volume, average order value (AOV), and gross margins across all product categories and dark stores. Vendor & Supplier Performance: Track supplier fill rates, payment terms, rebate tracking, and vendor negotiation performance to support the category management team during commercial discussions. Promotions & Campaign ROI: Measure the profitability and incremental uplift of commercial promotions, discounts, and bundle offers across the app to identify high-return campaign mechanics. Price & Margin Monitoring: Conduct regular price-elasticity analyses and competitor price tracking (across e-commerce and traditional retail) to protect margins while maintaining competitive shelf prices. Inventory & Shrinkage Insights: Partner with Supply Chain and Dark Store Operations to analyze slow-moving SKUs, near-expiry stock, commercial waste, and out-of-stock (OOS) rates to minimize revenue loss. Category Growth Analytics: Conduct deep-dive SKU-level performance analyses (ABC classification) to guide assortment rationalization, seasonal campaigns, and new product introductions. Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate with Finance on revenue reconciliation and commercial budgeting, and with Growth/Marketing to align promotional calendars with inventory availability.
What We're Looking For

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant quantitative field. Technical Skills: Advanced Excel / Google Sheets (Power Query, complex financial/logical functions, structured data modeling). Strong proficiency with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker) for dashboard creation and real-time data visualizer maintenance. Practical SQL knowledge for querying large transactional datasets directly from data warehouses. Experience with retail ERPs or commercial management systems.
