Snack & Beverage Category Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven and commercially minded Snack & Beverage Category Manager to lead the growth and performance of one of Rabbit’s most important categories. In this role, you will be responsible for developing the category strategy, managing supplier relationships, optimizing assortment and pricing, and driving sales and profitability across the Snacks & Beverages portfolio. You will combine customer insights, market trends, and operational excellence to create a category experience that customers trust and love. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, highly organized, commercially sharp, and passionate about consumer products and retail trends.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute the overall strategy for the Snacks & Beverages category in alignment with Rabbit’s commercial and growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and brand partners to ensure competitive pricing, strong availability, and product quality.
  • Curate and optimize the category assortment based on customer demand, trends, seasonality, and business performance.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities, emerging trends, pricing gaps, and innovation opportunities.
  • Analyze sales, margin, and inventory data to drive category growth and improve profitability.
  • Collaborate with marketing and growth teams to plan promotions, campaigns, launches, and merchandising strategies.
  • Monitor category performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and expansion.
  • Ensure all products meet Rabbit’s quality, safety, and operational standards.
  • Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and product availability while minimizing waste and stock issues.
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, finance, and product teams to improve category execution and customer experience.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, promotional support, and partnerships with suppliers.
  • Track and report on key category KPIs including sales growth, margins, availability, and customer satisfaction.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in category management, buying, merchandising, or commercial roles, preferably within food, FMCG, retail, or quick commerce.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and performance data to drive decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong commercial mindset with a customer-first approach.
  • Passion for snacks, beverages, consumer products, and evolving market trends.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and execution skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or business intelligence/reporting tools.
